Your Reliable Helper

Nothing extra — if the items and details given in the quote match reality, you will not incur any additional costs even if the move takes longer than estimated. Payment is made directly to us, Muuttokone.fi, once the move is complete.

Yes, all our full-service moves include moving insurance that covers damage to your items during transport. The insurance is automatically included in the price at no extra cost.

Report any damage you notice to us in writing within 7 days of the move. Our statutory road transport and liability insurance compensates, per its terms, for damage caused by our negligence during transport. The insurance does not cover damage resulting from inadequate packing of items packed by the customer.

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially around the turn of the month and during the summer months when demand is highest. If needed, we can also help with urgent moves on short notice.

Yes. We rent out sturdy, stackable moving boxes for €0.19 per box per day (incl. VAT). Delivery to your door and pickup are free when you rent the boxes together with a move. Without a move they are free when the rental is worth at least €100 (e.g. 38 boxes for 14 days); otherwise delivery and pickup cost €39 in total in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Add the boxes under the extra services in the moving calculator, or rent just the boxes on the Moving boxes page.
